Andrei Rubanov

Andrei Rubanov was born in 1969 in a village near Moscow. He spent his childhood in the village. After graduating from the Faculty of Journalism at Moscow State University, he first worked as a correspondent for a newspaper, then as a construction worker, driver, bodyguard, and also had his own business. In 2005, he published his first novel. Since then, he has made a name for himself not only as an author of mystical or historical novels, but also as a successful screenwriter for cinema. Rubanov lives with his family in Moscow.
